Echter's Nursery & Garden Center

This nursery is phenomenal. The sheer size of the place is a little bit intimidating. To say that it's vast is an understatement, but it's well-organized, and someone friendly and helpful is always just steps away. I've never visited any nursery anywhere with such a massive selection. Moreover, the plants are overwhelmingly in tip-top shape, which is rarely the case other places. I could easily spend an entire day perusing and planning future landscaping projects for my home. It's a little bit of a drive for me, but well worth it. I highly recommend it to gardeners of all experience and aptitudes. Guaranteed you're going to find a plant you've never heard of before that you simply cannot live without.

This has become our go to place to buy our plants. They have a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants. We've bought many flowers and vegetables plants from here for our outdoor gardens. They all have done exceptionally well. There's also always special sale items and coupons if you go online. You also can sign up to be apart of their rewards program which is an extra perk. I highly recommend doing that as it's easy to accure vouchers that you can use later.

Great selection, the associates are great many of them can help with your questions about plants and gardening questions. Much appreciated since major chain hardware stores selling plants essentially are stockers or register people with no knowledge or care about learning plants. This place definitely costs more but the trade off to me is worth it. Plus the green bucks earned when you spend there are incentives to return in July to apply them up to 50% of your purchase. We spend a lot there …. Can’t help it just love the selection! Thanks Echter’s!

5/30/2026 Today, we had a pleasant experience w/ Heather & Janelle. Heather is quite knowledgeable about the plants and procedures for your plants. She gave us great advice and analogies for our plants! We appreciate her! Thank you, Rupman & Rocket

What a beautiful place. So much to choose from. There is an employee named Joann who was absolutely amazing. So helpful. She explained a lot to me not just about the plant I was looking at, also about plants I was thinking about purchasing. I don't live in this area and yet I think I'd make a trip up to look for the perfect plants.
